Now we learn that of the four data sets on global climate, three of them were not independent of the other, and that NASA's data set was recognized internally as unreliable so they relied on Phil Jones' data from University of East Anglia--the man behind Climategate who has now admitted there has been no statistically significant global warming for 15 years. If anyone wants to check his data, they are out of luck--he lost it.
We are supposed to build a radical new global regime on top of this shaky foundation? I fear too many people in the global warming alarmism movement simply are uninformed about the foundations of their faith. I, for one, did not know until recently that there were only 4 data sets for global climate records. The only one untouched by this controversy is maintained by a Japanese meteorological group. I remember posting here last year that a leading japanese scientific association convened five of the nation's top five scientists to review the global warming controversy, and 4 out of 5 said it was bogus.(
Here it is). Wow. Where is this heading? If the global warming facade crumbles, how will that shake Big Green and its followers? What are the political implications? Will this be sort of a Reformation in environmentalism?
The rate of debunking of anthropogenic global warming seems to be accelerating. The dam has broken. The high priests can no longer silence the truth. We are now finally getting real peer-reviewd (as opposed to pal-reviewed) science. The power of the Goracle and his Magisterium has been shaken to its foundations.
