Sell the Roundhouse!

Sen. John Arthur Smith says the state's current budget is short $300-400 million and a special session may be required in October to find money to plug the gap. Well, here's a suggestion: sell the Roundhouse. Arizona is considering selling their capitol, and ours is an extravagant imperial palace, with expensive artwork, costly marble floors and walls, lush woodwork, and an opulence that has no place in a state where schoolchildren study in portable buildings.
