After talking to Jim Scarantino, I agree with his recommendation that if you want to get the memberships' attention on a certain topic, it's probably best to post it on the forum section as a new topic, as opposed to in one of these groups. That way it will appear on the front page, and members can find it with fewer clicks. The same goes for blog entries on your personal pages here.

I'm not stopping people from posting here, but just saying that if you want people to read what you write, it's best to post it so that it's easier for them to find it. Or just post it here and in the main forum -- doesn't matter to me.
