Unfortunately, I have to be in D.C. that entire week. I could probably throw a stone at Cato's offices from where we'll be. Thanks for thinking of me.

Yes, don't you know? He's swooping in to fight the bad guys!!! No, he's my bro-in-law, and will be on vacation, and I thought it would be fun for him to meet you or speak formally or informally. What's your schedule like that…

Sure. What brings him to town? Is educational freedom in jeopardy here?

Wondered if you would be interested in meeting Neal McCluskey, the Associate Director of the Center for Educational Freedom at the Cato Institute (http://www.cato.org/people/neal-mccluskey), who will be in ABQ the week of May 17th. Let me know!

Contact your state representative and state senator and ask that they amend the legislation to protect personal, individual religious beliefs and practices.

I follow developments in the Episcopal church as my denomination, United Methodists, faces the same internal stresses. I regularly read two Episcopal blogs, www.virtueonline.org and www.kendallharmon.com. I find them very informative.
